Thanks for considering me as a tutor! Here's a little bit about me...
I'm currently a 2nd Year Computer Science student at King's College London (KCL) with a thirst for knowledge and a passion for a wide range of activities, including programming, photography and playing the ukulele.
In terms of education, I would like to think that I have obtained a high level of education, achieving 10 A*-A's at GCSE and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 36 points (approximately equivalent to 3 A's at A-Level).
Outside of education, one of my favourite things to do is to play the ukulele. I'm a self-taught ukulele player and regularly attend the Ukulele Society at KCL. My passion for the ukulele is definitely justified - it's a beautiful instrument that brings happiness to all who play it! Not only that, but it's super easy to pick up!
When I'm not strumming away at my four strings, I like to go out with my camera and capture the beautiful city that is London. Photography is a great way to explore the city and discover beautiful little secrets. It's also a great way to bring out your creative side and show off your creativity.
So why should you pick me as a tutor? Well I'm offering a few very different subjects, so let me give you a few different answers to that.
We'll start with Mathematics. I've always had a passion for maths and have always excelled at it. This ability is proven by my A* in GCSE Mathematics and Level 4 in IB Higher Level Mathematics. I'm confident to tutor at GCSE level and would also be happy to tutor Standard Level IB.
Next up - Computer Science! I think the fact that I'm studying the subject at university says a lot about my interest in the subject. It's by far one of my strongest areas and I would say it comes fairly naturally to me. I achieved a Level 7 in IB Higher Level Computer Science and hope to find a job in the subject after graduating.
Aside from academic subjects, I'd also love to teach the ukulele! I understand this is quite a niche area and it might be quite a long shot to look for people who are interested, but it really is an amazing instrument that's quick to learn, cheap to buy and can provide hours of entertainment - it's one of my favourite ways to relax and is a fantastic way to let off some steam and relieve stress.
That's all from me - I hope you'll choose me as your tutor and I look forward to working with you! If you have any more questions or if you would like me to tutor in a subject I haven't mentioned, just get in touch!
