My son is 15 in year 10 currently. He has been recently diagnosed as severe dyslexic and very severe visual stress, yet with an amazing iq. Because of all this he hates reading and is struggling badly with his English language and literature GCSE's. Starting September in school he will be using technology in lessons in preparation for exams etc and at home we are learning touch typing and now have Dragon voice recognition software to help also. Could you let me know what experience you have with teaching dyslexic pupils and how this differs from mainstream? Also if you have space/time to add another pupil to your schedule?
